Biancamaria Marchioro, alias Blancharme is a jewelry designer.
Her manual work particularly fascinates me, she combines tradition with innovation in a very interesting way: she works with 3D printers and softwares, but than she likes to bring all this knowledge to a manual piece that has to be made by hand.

Her manual work particularly fascinates me, she combines tradition with innovation in a very interesting way: she works with 3D printers and softwares, but than she likes to bring all this knowledge to a manual piece that has to be made by hand.
For some of her pieces she decided to learn how to make handmade pasta looking for beauty in the movements of the food tradition of her country.
These pieces are made exactly how the old Italian women named “sfogline” would do them in their workshops in Bologna.
She believes her jewels are intimate objects so close to the person that can influence the
flow of their life.
